Classification of (I) by nature of use
Auto parts are classified according to the nature of the use of the parts and can be divided into five types
1. Basic parts: refers to some of the main assembly parts that make up the car, such as crankshaft, cylinder block, cylinder head, camshaft, frame, axle housing, transmission housing, etc.
2. Consumable parts: refers to the parts that must be replaced when some parts are naturally aging, invalid and expired during the operation of the car, such as various transmission belts, filter elements, gaskets, tires, batteries, etc.
3. Vulnerable parts: refer to the parts that are prone to natural wear and failure during the driving of the car, such as bearing bushes, piston rings, pistons, camshaft bushes, cylinders, air valves, ducts, kingpins, kingpin bushings, wheels, Brake drums, various oil seals, steel plate pins and sleeves, etc.
4. Maintenance parts: Maintenance parts refer to the parts that must be replaced after a certain operating cycle of the car, such as various shafts, gears, fasteners of various moving parts, and parts that must be replaced during a certain service life, such as Some fasteners, steering knuckles, half shaft sleeves, etc.
5. Accident: The accident refers to the parts of the car that are mainly damaged due to the accident, such as bumpers, lamps, rearview mirrors, body covers, radiators, etc.
(II) by source of parts
According to the source of auto parts suppliers, it can be divided into two categories, one is called original parts; the other is called suitable parts.
The so-called original parts refer to the original equipment manufacturers (OriginalEquipmentManufacturer,OEM) in full accordance with the requirements of the standard phase of the provisions of the automobile manufacturing plant for repair and replacement parts products. These products meet the standards set by the original manufacturer, with the original trademark, the original part number (and sometimes the OEM trademark), and the original packaging. These products are generally supplied through special dealers or special service stores of automobile manufacturers.
Parts that are not provided by the original manufacturer but can be applied to the same model as the corresponding original parts are called applicable parts. Its situation is somewhat complicated.
